Jacquard Castaway Stamp Pad

A product that comes from paper-craft.

Stamp an image using Castaway onto paper. When the stamped image is heated with an iron, the colour of the paper is removed or altered. The result is a marbled or dappled antique look which is similar to batik fabric. This effect works best on papers that are not coated, and are coloured using dyes. (If unsuccessful try a different paper stock.) Castaway could also have 'discharge' effect on procion-dyed lightweight fabic, giving an easy introduction to the area of fabric-colour discharge techniques.

Jacquard Pearlex Stamp Pad

Permanent on all surfaces ...

The stamp pads are water-soluble, acid free, archival, lightfast and washfast. They are designed for use on many surfaces, such as paper, fabric, shrink plastic, clay, leather, glass, wood and others.

The Pearl Ex Stamp Pads are available in 12 colors in four groups: Two-Tone, Metallic, Interference & Essential Colors.

fuseFX

A new fine, heat-bondable web that can be used to bond or to create decorative effects. Unlike Bonding Web or other similar paper-backed products this web can bundled into a bag for storage or mailing, but it will readily open out into its original fine sheet form.

This Lutradur 'fabric' (sold as fibreDK) can be seen in the Barbara Lee Smith exhibition at the Knitting and Stitching shows this year (2006). The smooth, crisp surface that has been used to such tremendous effect by Barbara has created quite a stir.
